Career sharing and career mentorship

The career sharing and mentorship program is dedicated to assisting youth in determining their life focus, passion, and path. This program has not yet been carried out. The proposed structure of this program is that career professionals, including, but not limited to, those in the medical and humanitarian fields, will hold talks which will be attended by community youth. These talks will expose youth to the possibilities of selecting a career in a particular field. Steps on how to move forward in pursing the field of interested will be given. Students will be able to contact the speaker upon contacting the God's House Executive Assistant, at which time an appointment will be scheduled with the career mentor. It is required that the youth involved in the program contact God's House before contacting mentors and vice versa.

Approximately 30 hours per year will be dedicated to this program. The 30 hours include two, two hours events per year and approximately 26 hours total of organizing speakers, materials, youth and preparations for both events.

States/Countries that currently participate in Cultural Exchange Program: New York City, Sierra Leone, St. Thomas, USVI, St. Croix, USVI
