PRESS RELEASE

“God’s House Founder volunteers at World AIDs conference, August 3-8, 2008.”

Yvonne Washington-Turay, Founder of God’s House International, Inc., will be volunteering at the XVII International World AIDs Conference in Mexico City from August 3-8 (http://www.aids2008.org/). Mrs. Washington-Turay decided to volunteer her time at the conference in order to get an inside view into the intricacies of the conference organizing and planning. She also intends to make networking connections in order to initiate relationships between God’s House International and other organizations and people who share the same goal to prevent and eradicate the HIV/AIDs virus. Photos and a summary of the event will be provided at a later date.

Greetings to All from Mexico City:

Just to let you know that all is well. I am working hard but it's good work. I have been networking and talking with people all over the world who are working in HIV/AIDS or living with HIV/AIDS. Yes, this pandemic has impacted the world and we MUST be proactive in helping to resolve it within our personal lives and respective communities. I have enjoyed the activities I have participated in this week and I am learning much. The Mexican people are very welcoming and I heard the word "GUAPA" quite often with reference to my dress. "GUAPA" means you look beautiful or great. I have never taken so many pictures with people I don't even know :). I will be creating an album for all to view. It has been a blast. May God continue to bless and keep everyone of you. Keep me in your prayers as I will keep you in mine.
