February 8th met the God's House Team back on site. On this day a "Woman's Empowerment
Seminar" was held. This session followed the same pattern as the previous presentations with an
emphasis on women empowering themselves to take control of their lives.
An afternoon meal was served, and each woman received a special set of gifts at the end of the
seminar. Women who traveled to the seminar were given transport costs back to their respective
places. Two of the participants came from as far as the village of Songho, which is about 1.5 hours
upline from the clinic. There were about 25 participants at this event (not including the many children
in attendance). Many of the participants expressed their satisfaction with the outreach and verbalized
that they were going to pass the message on in their respective communities.
