At the Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary school there was also a special "School-to-School" cross
cultural educational exchange. Children from The Learning Tree Multicultural School in Queens, New
York City, as well as, two other students, Anna and Lyric, compiled packets of school supplies to
distribute to children in this West African community. The packets included paper, pens, markers,
crayons, erasers, and more! There were also letters from the student donors in the U.S. enclosed in
some of the packages. These packets were given to students selected by the Principal of the school,
Mr. Mohamed, and letters of thanks were written by the students at the Ahmadiyya School, in return.
Since, the exchanged letters have been given to the students in the United States and a pen pal
relationship has been established.
