Earlier in the day on February 5th, Mrs. Turay and L.E.G.A.C.Y. conducted an outreach at Lumley
Beach. During this outreach five male youths were given an "HIV/AIDS in-a-minute" briefing along
with male and female condom demonstrations. Condoms were distributed and participants were
also instructed to contact local family planning organizations and the National AIDS Secretariat for
more information about the availability of the female condom.
Just before this outreach session L.E.G.A.C.Y. met with DJ Base of UN Radio and set up a radio
interview that would take place on February 11, 2008. This radio interview would set God's House at
new heights. Ernest Bai Koroma, President of Sierra Leone, heard the interview and commended
God's House for the work we are doing and for the love of our people in doing this work in such a
"hands on" manner.
